Did you know that every Mac comes equipped with a useful set of tools to help students with learning difficulities?
They come with everything from: a built-in dictionary; organisation tools; one of the leading search facilities that can be found on any platform; and a very comprehensive set of features for visually impaired users. Every new Mac purchased has all these features included free of charge, and in true Apple tradition they all integrate seamlessly with Mac OS.
To celebrate this, Apple have launched a new web-page detailing all the features of Mac OS that go towards making a Mac the ideal platform for students with learning difficulities.
More information can be found on the Apple Special Education page
Don’t forget that Apple are launching their brand new version of Mac OS in the autumn, which will include many enhancements to the already exceptionally good assistive technology tools.
